The Saatchi Gallery
UNVEILED: NEW ART FROM THE MIDDLE EASTThis is a show i went to over a month ago. The gallery itself is spot on for a contempory art gallery. Their is more than enough white space -which was used wisely. The floor was interesting, it was light brown wooden strips- laminate flooring, without the laminate. It made the room feel light and airy. Between the floor and the white-board walls, a gap gave each wall a kind of boarder. The art was curated well, i kind of drifted through the exhibition. However, at one point i was in a room (gallery 13) which had work from the previous exhibition - THE REVOLOUTION CONTINUES: NEW ART FROM CHINA. I don't know whether this was a good thing or not.
