I was just thinking thatif i made something really goog that effected some one that would be good. but i watched history boys (film) the other day and at the end in a short space of time it sums up time and peoples lives and their journey - a child in school and becoming a lawyer or electriction r whatever- and it related to the teacher who had done all this. I f i made something as effective as this and put it in a gallery thats crap compared to all the people that experence this famous film. also if someone was to make political or some sort of comentry art - which im sure has been done well and effective- but spot on comments and moments are constantly in the simpson which appeals to kids -they may miss certain points but- adults and everyone. instead of an effective i mage in a gallery its broadcasted worlwide, however the way its put towards the audience i suppose is different and has a different effect, but still...

MORRISONS IN YOU ICE CREAME
I was thinking of buying some icream from morrisons and letting it melt then, making a model of morrisons and puting it in the icream along side construction manual and a note from me then freezing the icream and putting it back in morrisons. i would write a note in it somethink like thisHi, im pat
Im an Artist do not eat this ice cream, i have illegally hijacked - dont be scared- and put a sculpture in it for you to construct. Morrisons do not know about this , i have also enclosed the money for you to buy a new one. if you fancy it follow the guide lines and make a minimodel of morrisons. and if you can please take a photo and send it to this email: -------@hotmail.com, and maybe with photos of the sculptures -(you)- along side it. and see it on the website www.----.com
ihope you enjoy lost of love pat xxxxxxxxx
but im worried i might kill someone

I bought some beans and chopped tomatoes from Morrisons, peeled away the labels and made some drawings on the inside, and im going to put them back on the shelves in morrisons . I think that generally they will not be found but some could. Also the audience will differ depending on what product i use and the price of the product, morrisons own brand for example. Also if i say do ten of these or evena hundread the audience may not neccicarrily be the general puplic, as one they may not be found and if so thats only - max- one hundread people. However if say this idea is shown in a gallery talked about in art magazines ect, - which is the most likley thing to happen in this situation- the audience is never the general puplic but ironically the art audience.

The Atrium gallery told logistics that my drawing was unaaproriate. It had writing at the top- "the devil probably". i can obviously see how this can be misinterpreted, or insensitive to peoples situations. you could say that i dont know how it feels to be in that situation, but it could of had an opposite effect on people one thats not nessecrerallly offensive. which raises questions iin my head about wheter its my responcibility to think about every angle instead of just doing somethink and letting it go.

"Art should be apart of everyday life.As it is in Italy. Where it is all around you. My wife is venetian, and every day she would go through the piazza san marco. It was free for all. And the Palazzo Ducale. Not with some fence around it just for the few, but for everyone. And you can just go into churches and see the art. That is how it should be here, and it is not. Too often art here is closted away and only a few special people can see it. We get the idea that it is hard work and that it should be worked at.But art needn't be like that. It can be easy and fun and accssible."
